Knight has received numerous accolades throughout her career. In addition to being a seven-time Grammy recipient, she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (1995); Gladys Knight & The Pips were inducted into the Rock ‘N’ Roll Hall of Fame (1996) and were presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Rhythm & Blues Hall of Fame (1997); and Knight received the “Lifetime Achievement Award” at the annual BET Awards ceremony (2004).
